We’re excited to share the important dates and tuition details for the 2026 and 2027 seasons at Chestnut Lake Camp. Tuition for 2027 reflects an average increase of 5% over 2026, a very similar adjustment as was made from 2025 to 2026.

Tuition includes laundry, local trips, transportation to and from selected areas in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania (Philadelphia), Maryland (Baltimore and Greater Washington, DC), selected airports, accident insurance, all counselor gratuities, towels (shower, pool, and lake), and canteen.
Tuition & Credits
These terms apply to the 2027 season only.
Early Enrollment Credit – $200 per child
Campers returning to camp in 2027 after attending a session in 2026 by the following deadlines will receive this credit. Their first-time siblings are also eligible.
- 2026 First Session Attendees: Enroll by July 27
- 2026 Full Summer or Second Session Attendees: Enroll by August 19
Early Pay in Full Credit – $400 per child
Campers coming for the first time or returning to camp in 2027 with full balances paid by July 27 or August 19 will receive this credit. Please note that any Trip Fees may be applied after the completion of enrollment and the calculation of the full balance due. In that case, Trip Fees will be billed and paid for later in the off-season.
This credit cannot be combined with the Early Enrollment Credit. Max discount in those cases is $400 per child.
Pioneer Credit – $100 per child
Families with at least one child attending camp in 2019 or earlier will receive this credit for all children enrolled in 2027.
First-Time Family Credit – $200 per child
Families enrolling a child for the first time will receive this credit.
Discovery Camp Credit – $250 per former Disco Camp participant
Campers who attended Discovery Camp in a prior summer will receive this credit once. A former Disco Camp participant can also be considered eligible for other applicable credits based on family enrollment history.
Sibling Credit – $1,000 per family
Families enrolling three children for 4/3/7-week sessions will receive this credit.
Deposit & Refund Policy
Enrolling a child for 7/4/3 weeks requires a deposit of $2,000 per child. Discovery Camp requires payment in full. All monies paid will be refundable upon written request until January 1, 2027. After January 1, there will be no refunds.

FAQs
When should we enroll?
Many of our Divisions (gender/grade groups) fill quickly each year, so we encourage families to enroll as early as possible. Returning families receive priority enrollment, and availability can change throughout the season.
If you're unsure about space in a particular grade or session, please contact us and we'll be happy to help.
What is included in tuition?
Tuition includes accommodations, meals, daily activities, instructional programs, waterfront, athletics, arts, evening events, and most camp amenities. Transportation, optional trips where applicable, spending money, and certain specialty items may be additional.

Can I combine multiple tuition credits?
Some tuition credits may be combined, while others cannot. For example, the Early Pay in Full Credit cannot be combined with the Early Enrollment Credit as outlined above.

What is your deposit and refund policy?
A $2,000 deposit per camper is required for 7-, 4-, and 3-week sessions. Discovery Camp requires payment in full. Deposits are refundable through the published refund deadline listed above. After that date, payments become non-refundable.

Can I visit camp before enrolling?
Absolutely. We encourage prospective families to experience Chestnut Lake Camp in person whenever possible. A tour is one of the best ways to meet our team, explore camp, and determine whether we're the right fit for your family. While summer tours are the most popular option, we are also happy to schedule off-season tours from September to May each year.
