Guiding Your Transition to Chestnut Lake

As exciting as it is to send your child to summer camp, the process can be overwhelming and lead to some degree of anxiousness. Along these lines, we feel it is important to make sure our circle of support extends beyond the campers to the parents.

As a part of your transition to Chestnut Lake, we will guide you through the process of getting your child ready for Day 1, including helping with packing list questions, special needs that your child may have and making connections with other first time campers. If needed prior to camp, members of our camp leadership team will be in contact with you to discuss any medical or dietary needs.

Once your child arrives at camp, our level of support will extend to include the Head Counselors and Division Leaders. For new CLC parents, you will receive a call during the first week of the summer to provide you with details of your child’s transition to Chestnut Lake.

Lastly, and most importantly, our CLC family is always available to help ensure that your entire family has a memorable summer experience.
